Vice President Business Development

CFDRC is the technology leader in engineering simulations and innovative designs. Our services are used by many Fortune 500 and emerging high-tech companies, national laboratories, and universities worldwide.

CFDRC is seeking to hire a Vice President for Business Development to lead and coordinate our Business Development efforts and expand our engineering expert support services.

  • Experience in tracking, assessing and formulating winning strategies for business opportunities

  • Good understanding of DoD and NASA procurement programs
  • Ability to interact with internal Technical Managers and Principal Investigators
  • Ability to develop basic understanding of selected company technologies
  • Previous experience in developing business with Army and/or MDA
  • Ability to respond quickly to task order requests
  • Ability to contribute to proposal reviews
  • Willing to Travel 30% time
  • This position is located in Huntsville, Alabama.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Ten years Aerospace Experience (additional Experience in Biomedical field a plus)
  • Advanced Degree in Engineering (System Engineering a plus)
  • Five years as a successful Business Development Executive or Manager, or a combination of the two at a Corporate level
  • Experience with customers such as MDA, SMDC, DARPA, Service Research Labs or Like organizations preferable
