Cyber Security Software Engineer
Job Description:
We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals with a strong background in computer science, cyber security, anti-tamper, and information assurance. Job responsibilities include:
- Design and implement new data integrity software that protects data in-transit and at-rest
- Development of cyber security software solutions including design, code development, and testing
- Work independently on research and development related tasks
- Prepare technical reports and documentation
- Contribute to future research though proposal preparation and expanding existing technical capabilities
Job Requirements:
- MS or PhD in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and encryption technologies is required
- Working knowledge of one or more of the following topics is desired: cyber security, information assurance, anti-tamper techniques
- Experience with multi-threaded programming
- Experience with C++, Java, and other object oriented programming languages
- Good written and oral communication skills, and the ability to multi-task effectively in a stimulating, multi-disciplinary, cutting edge science and engineering environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- US citizenship is required. Must meet eligibility requirements for obtaining a Secret clearance
