Project Engineer
Job Description:
We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals with a proven track record of numerical modeling & simulation and/or software development for engineering systems. The job responsibilities include:
- Reduced-order modeling and simulation of nonlinear multi-physics phenomena in engineering systems (including thermal, fluidic, and reacting systems)
- Development of numerical algorithms and software for large-scale system-level simulation
- Optimization and design of thermal management and control strategies, micro & nano systems or biological systems
- Contribution to future research through proposal preparation
Job Requirements:
- M.S. or Ph.D. in applied mathematics, electrical engineering, mechanics, chemical engineering or related field with 0-3 years of experience.
- Strong background in numerical techniques, linear algebra, and optimization approaches.
- Proficiency in technical programming languages (e.g., C++/Matlab/Fortran)
Desired Skills:
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in reduced order modeling of large-scale nonlinear systems, control theory, computational fluid dynamics and heat transfer.
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, creativity in R&D, and capability of working in a stimulating, multidisciplinary, cutting edge science environment emphasizing teamwork.
- Strong written/oral communication and organizational skills.
