Mixed-Mode Simulation

CFDRC ADS performs single-event effect (SEE) simulations and analysis for the most advanced, latest circuits and devices, using compact models directly from IC manufacturer process design kits (PDKs) and coupling our Nanotechnology Computer Aided Design (NanoTCAD) 3D device simulator tool with the Cadence Spectre circuit simulator (MixCAD) or SPICE-compatible circuit simulators (MixSPICE) to conduct “mixed-mode” simulations. Both of our mixed mode tools are available for steady-state and transient simulations. This work includes, but is not limited to:
